About Kelly

Professessional Experience

Kelly Mulder brings her wide-ranging expertise developed from 20 years in marketing and 15 years in the energy and utility industry. Her unique knowledge in research, program implementation, and evaluation enables Kelly to distill complex technical information into straightforward insights and actionable steps. She excels at managing projects with multiple stakeholders, acting as a communicator, translator, and communication bridge between project, technical, and creative team members.

These personal experiences have provided the foundation for MULDER’s vision to assure all stakeholders are represented fairly, as well as making sure each brand’s value is being used to the fullest.

For the 3 years prior to establishing MULDER, Kelly was a Director and Senior Managing Consultant with ILLUME, working on customer research and energy program evaluations. Her concentration was in utility customer research to inform marketing strategies for various utility energy programs including Emerging Tech, Demand Response, Energy Efficiency, and Renewable Energy. She has also served in many roles from Project and Marketing Manager to Marketing Director for national implementing contractors—including 12 years in marketing and program implementation roles. For the first 3 years of Kelly’s career in marketing, she coordinated all aspects of a company-wide rebranding effort with a local agency and the CEO of a local printing company, as well as oversaw the sales team’s marketing efforts.
